YOU THOUGHT YOU’D BE IN A DIFFERENT PLACE AT THIS POINT IN YOUR LIFE.
Weren’t you supposed to be on your way to 30, flirty, and thriving… or something?
Quarter life crisis (noun): that oh-so-fun period of your 20s and 30s when you're doing everything “right” but still feel completely lost. And it really sucks.
Okay, your life is fine. But fine wasn't the dream, was it? Somewhere between the hopefulness of your youth and now, you just got kind of… stuck. You refresh your social feed on repeat, seeing it fill with engagement photos, promotion announcements, baby bumps, new homes, and you wonder if you’re the only one who doesn’t have her shit together.
Let’s face it, you’re so tired of
Getting the job, hitting the goal, reaching the milestone, and then not feeling what you thought you would about it. You're like: “is that all?”
Going around in circles about a major life decision you've been putting off for months—and not trusting yourself to make the right choice without first consulting your friends, your parents, or your tarot card reader.
Losing who you are with every big change—feeling unsettled and untethered in your life as you struggle to adjust to situations like motherhood, an unexpected diagnosis, or a new relationship.
Smiling through another holiday where your family asks when you're going to settle down—and internally screaming the whole time.
Wanting kids someday but refusing to settle for just any partner—and starting to feel your biological clock ticking away.
Friendships that feel so hard. Everyone's busy, everyone's in their own chapter now—but you're lonely, and you don't know who to say that to.
You're doing really well, and you're feeling really lost—two things can be true at the same time.
We’re here to help you make sense of it.
OUR APPROACH
It makes total sense that you’re tired, and frustrated, and maybe a little fed up (or very effing fed up). Trust us—we’ve been there. We get it.
So, here's what we're going to do. First, we slow down and give you space to figure out what you want—not what your parents want, not what your friends are doing, not what you thought you were supposed to want by now. What you genuinely, truly want for your life.
Then, we get into what's been making it so hard to get there. Unlike when you’re venting to your friends, we’ll dig in and do the hard work with you. Together, we’ll figure out what's driving the spiral, help you understand what you're feeling, and give you real tools to work with between sessions to help you cope with all the suck you’re going through.
Getting to a place where you feel good about your life is not going to happen overnight. But you're not going to be doing it alone anymore, okay? We’ve got you.
What you're going through is real—but it doesn't have to stay this hard.
Therapy during a quarter life crisis can help you…
Mean it when you text your friend "congrats!!" on her engagement—because you’re happy with who you are and you're confident that good things can happen for you too.
Trust your own compass. Make decisions from a place of clarity, without needing reassurance from anyone outside of yourself—and feel confident in that.
Feel grounded in where you are right now—even if it's not where you expected to be—because you’ve made peace with your journey.
Respond confidently to your family's questions about dating and kids, and be able to let any negative reactions roll off your back.
Come out the other side of a big transition in your life—new motherhood, a career transition, a move to a new city—feeling like yourself and well-adjusted to your new normal.
Open social media and scroll without comparing yourself to the highlight reels of your friends, your exes, or influencers.
WE’RE RIGHT HERE FOR YOU
Feeling happy and fulfilled in your life isn’t too much to ask for. Let’s get to the version of you who has all that and more.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
A quarter life crisis is that specific, exhausting feeling of being stuck, behind, or like you got where you thought you wanted to go and still don't feel okay. It usually shows up somewhere in your 20s or 30s, often triggered by a big life transition or just the slow realization that the life you're living doesn't quite match the one you imagined.
There’s no clear-cut clinical diagnosis for this, but it’s a very recognized stage of life. If you’re struggling even just a little bit, that’s enough for you to start therapy with us.
-
Your friends love you. They're also navigating their own stuff, and they're probably not going to push back on you, follow up on the things you said you were going to do, or help you connect the dots. Therapy isn't just a space to vent—it's a space to work through what's going on and figure out why you feel the way you do.
-
We typically recommend weekly sessions, especially when you're just getting started. Consistency is where progress happens—it's hard to build momentum when there's too much time between sessions. That said, we'll figure out what works best for you as we go.
-
All of our sessions are completely virtual—by secure video or phone through Jane App, our online booking platform. You can join from wherever you are in Ontario: your home, your car, your lunch break. All you need is a private space and a decent wifi connection.
-
Every therapist on our team is a master's level registered social worker with specialized training in the areas that tend to show up during this life stage—anxiety, relationship patterns, self-worth, big life transitions.
But beyond the credentials, we're in it too. We understand the specific pressure of watching everyone else's life click into place on your feed while yours feels stuck. We understand the biological clock math and the friendship drift and the particular exhaustion of being good at your job and still not feeling okay. You're not going to spend half your session explaining context we already get.
-
It's very real—and you're not being dramatic. The quarter life crisis is a recognized period of stress, self-doubt, and uncertainty that tends to hit somewhere in your 20s and 30s. It's usually triggered by a big life transition, the pressure of unmet expectations, or just the experience of watching everyone around you seem to have it figured out. You don’t have to look like you’re in crisis from the outside to be ready for help.

We hear this a lot. Some therapy can be passive—you talk, they listen, you leave feeling a little better for about an hour, and then you're right back in it. Sessions with us are active and engaged. We get into the real stuff, follow up on the hard things, and show up as invested in your progress as you are. If something isn't working, we'll say so and change course.
